Perry H. Moss' Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Perry H. Moss on December 1, 2024, in Nashville, Tennessee.
Perry was born in Nashville on July 26, 1943, to Perry and Lula Moss. Perry served as a devoted deacon at Eastwood Baptist Church for twelve years and a faithful member of the congregation for much longer. He was a passionate warrior for Christ and shared his faith with family and friends. He worked at the Baptist Sunday School Board, now Lifeway, for 30 years and retired in 1999. He took up his most important and cherished occupation caring for his grandchildren. Perry spent his time sharing his love of Elvis music with his family. Perry was an avid Vanderbilt fan and cheered on the men’s basketball team through their ups and downs. Perry’s favorite team to cheer on was his grandson, Logan’s, basketball team.
In addition to his parents Perry and Lula, Perry is preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Carol Moss. He is survived by his loving daughters Lesa (Bubba) Waller and Melody Wilson; grandchildren Stephan, Hunter, Logan, and Abby; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
The family cordially invites guests and relatives for a time of visitation on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024, from four o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening, and on Thursday, December 5th, 2024, from twelve until two in the afternoon, with a chapel service to follow at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
