Mrs. Phu McGrew's Obituary
Phu McGrew of Goodlettsville, TN passed away on September 2, 2017 in Sumner County. She is preceded in death by her parents, Nguyen Van Ruyet, Nguyen Thi Duoc; and sisters/brothers, Nguyen Gia Thinh, Nguyen Ngoc Mai, Nguyen Ngoc Dung.
She is survived by her loving husband, Barry McGrew; daughter, Lorie (Jonathan) Richard; brothers, Nguyen Gia Duc, Nguyen Dinh Khiem, Nguyen Gia Hung, Nguyen Tu Lap, Nguyen Dinh Tao ; and sisters, Nguyen Hong Van, Nguyen Hong Nga, Nguyen Thi Hoang, Nguyen Bich Lien.
Phu loved gardening, photography, and to travel. She loved birdwatching and was an active member at her church, Lady of the Lakes. Phu loved her family and friends dearly. She touched the lives of so many and will truly be missed.
In lieu of flowers please make memorials to Ingram Cancer Research Center at Vanderbilt, or Alive hospice.
Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017 from 6pm-8pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A celebration of life funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 12pm with a 2 hour visitation prior.
