Ms. Phyllis Stevens' Obituary
Ms. Phyllis Stevens passed away January 13, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born to the late “Buddy” Stevens and Wilma Hunley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents Billie and Leslie Felts; and her four-legged companions, Ola and Dresden.
She is survived by her sisters Sally Carter and Sharron Brooks; brother Bobby Hunley; cousin, Robert Patton; and a host of extended family.
Phyllis had a tougher life than most people due to her blindness, but she never let that get in her way of living life. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in German and even owned her own business at one time. She will be remembered for being humorous and making her family laugh. One of her favorite things was to listen to music and sing. She had a special love for her family, especially her animals. Phyllis will be missed by all who love and know her.
There will be a graveside at the Historic Spring Hill on November 6, 2023, at 11 o’clock in the morning. We are asking all who are attending to please be at the funeral home at 10:30 so that we can do a procession out to the graveside.
