Mrs. Polly King Carter's Obituary
Mrs. Polly King Carter, 92, widow of A.B. Carter and a resident of Madison died Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Gallatin Health Care Center.
Mrs. Carter was the daughter of the late Dewey and Oma Richardson King. She was a member of the Madison Church of Christ and more recently attended Neely’s Bend Church of Christ.
She is survived by two sons, Randy Carter (Dee) and Mark Carter; a sister, Doris Coker; two grandchildren, Larry Carter and Ashley Hilgeford (Jerry); several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be conducted Friday, September 26, 2014 at 2:00PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 3:00 until 8:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Avalon Hospice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, Nashville, 615-865-1101.
