Mr. Prentice Troy Brooks' Obituary
Mr. Prentice Troy Brooks, age 84 of Old Hickory, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. He was born on March 11, 1939 in Difficult, Tennessee to the late Prentice Alexander Brooks and Eula Hart Wilson Jenkins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Jeanette Johnston. He is survived by his wife Pat Sheldon Brooks, daughter Tanya Brooks Harrison, grandchildren Dannie Groves Wright and Cotey Ian Groves, great-granddaughters Madison Wright, McKensey Wright, and Lainey Wright, as well as niece Sheila Zilly Jett (Andy) and his beloved dog Little Bit.
Troy was a Shriner for a number of years. He was a lover of all things outdoors, and enjoyed gardening, lawn work, and working on lawn mowers for friends and neighbors. He also loved old cars and trucks, and collecting knives.
A graveside memorial will be held for Troy at a later date.
