Way back in the late 80s, we started playing in high school scraping together whatever equipment broke teenagers could get cheaply in a very small country town. We called ourselves Limited Edition. Keith, Rusty and myself. We practiced a lot at Keith’s place and his momma always cooked us a wholesome hot dinner afterwords. Our first gig was at the Eagles Nest and the entire town of Johnson City came to see us. I was not expecting to play my first gig for such a large crowd. But that was Keith’s promotional talent at work. We played ALOT of gigs. Country clubs, parties, honkey tanks, everywhere, three-four gigs a weekend. He was a go-getter back then and kept on go-gettin. He made Johnson City proud. And I know he made his mama and daddy very proud too. Rest in peace my friend.
