Quinnie (Durham) Donoho, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 in Nashville. Quinnie was born in Madison (grew up in Hendersonville) on March 19, 1945 to the late John D Durham and Ruth (Maddux) Durham.
She is survived by her son, Roy Neill Acuff, Jr. (Lisa); sister, Kay Hurt (Buddy); grandchildren, Mollie McKenzie Acuff, Nicole Atnip, and Trey Donoho (Tia), great-grandchildren, Gage, Haylee and Brylie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Peyton “Don” Donoho; parents, John D and Ruth (Maddux) Durham; sister, Nancy Sue Buzzard; brother, Obie Ford Durham.
Quinnie loved socializing with all her friends, especially those from the Elks Lodge in Waverly. She enjoyed the Florida sunshine and would go there often. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and cherished them greatly. Quinnie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hendersonville.
A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 12 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 5 from 4:00-8:00 pm and also on Tuesday from 10 am – 12 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
Floral arrangements will be accepted, if you prefer, you may contribute in Quinnie’s honor to a charity of your choice.
