Mrs. Rachel Ann Thomas' Obituary
Rachel Ann (Goad) Thomas, age 81, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2020 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Rachel was born on August 12, 1938 in Lafayette, Tennessee to Gray and Lois Ruth (Law) Goad.
Rachel enjoyed spending time with her friends going out on Friday and Saturday nights to dance. She is remembered by her family and friends as being a great cook. A couple of her specialties were banana pudding and coconut cake. She cherished her family and the life that she was blessed with.
Rachel is preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, Will L. Thomas; his son, Danny Ray Thomas and a brother, Troy Goad.
She is survived by her son, Steve Thomas (Patricia); grandchildren, Heather, Lisa (Todd), Scott (Courtney), Jeremy and Monica; great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Dillon, Cason, Malachi, Gabriel, Justin, Julieanna, Caroline, Campbell; sister-in-law, Kaye Goad. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 from 2 pm until 8 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Entombment will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
