Mr. Randall Everett Young's Obituary
Randall Everett Young, age 84 of Nashville, TN passed away September 28, 2013. Mr. Young was born in Nashville, TN on December 16, 1928 to Minor Thomas and Emma Whiteflower Vick Young.
Mr. Young served in the National Guard for three years and retired as a Captain with Metro-Nashville Fire Department after 30 years of service from 1959 to 1989.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tracy Leanne Young; and brother, Herbert Noble Young. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Juanita Johns Young; daughters, Randalyn (Micah) Dorsett-Bruce, Dianne (Mike) Binkley and Suzanne (John) Wehner; brother, Minor Young, Jr.; grandchildren, Wendy (Bob), Keith, Lauren (Brad), Tom (Erin), Sam and Isaac; great-grandchildren, Ben, Bryce, Madalynn, Lillian, Stella, Cora and Ava.
A celebration of Mr. Young’s life will be conducted at 11 AM, Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 PM until 8 PM on Tuesday, October 1 at Spring Hill Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VFW in memory of the HQ & HQ 168th MP BTN.
