Randy Shane Tobitt, 49, of Cottontown, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022. Born November 24, 1972 in Nashville, Tennessee, he was the son of Danny Tobitt and the late Linda Faye Tobitt.
Randy married his best friend from high school, Misty Nicole Grubbs. He owned and operated Green Hills construction where he was a master builder with over 20 years experience. He loved motorcycles, race cars, and drifting. Randy always kept a perfectly manicured lawn and took great pride in it. His family will remember him as a man with a wonderful work ethic who was deeply involved in the lives of his children whom he adored.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister Rhonda Michelle Smith.
He is survived by his wife and best friend, Misty Tobitt; sons Brennan Shane (Celeste) Daniels and Dustin Ryan Tobitt; daughter Kyndal Paige Tobitt; father Danny Tobitt; mother and father-in-law Connie and Don Grubbs; sister-in-law Stacey (Scott) Williams; nieces Kennedy Smith, Makinsie Gwin and Payton Williams; nephew Dillon Tomlin; he had one grandchild on the way; and a host of dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville from 1 PM until 8 PM. Another visitation will take place on Monday from 10 AM until 2 PM. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Dan Smith will be conducted on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 2 PM and will be open to all family and friends.
