Raymond Aubrey Pursell's Obituary
PURSELL, Raymond Aubrey- Age 87 of Nashville peacefully entered heaven on Thursday, August 11th. He was born to the late Raymond R. and Anna Milom Pursell. Also preceded in death by his brother- Glen and two sisters- Margaret & Helen. He is survived by his precious wife of 62 years, Nova June Groover Pursell; daughters, Beverly (Michael) Dycus and Glenda (Don) Clark; two brothers- Horace Newell; 5 grandchildren (Chandra, Justin, Michael, Cory, & Grady); 8 great grandchildren, and a myriad of family. He was a Marine Corps veteran of WW II in the Pacific Theater, including Iwo Jima; and an Avco retiree. Donations may be made in his honor to Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org. Visitation will be from 4-8PM, Friday, August 12th and from 12PM-2PM, Saturday, August 13th. Funeral services will be held at 2PM, Saturday, August 13th (All fellow Marines are invited) with Pastor Todd Carroll officiating at SPRING HILL FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY 5110 Gallatin Rd. 1-(615)-865-1101
