Mr. Raymond T. Blackmore Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. Raymond Tyree Blackmore, Jr. age 69, of Cross Plains, Tennessee passed away on December 25, 2020. He was born on July 9, 1951 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Raymond Sr. and Doris Blackmore. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was survived by his loving wife Carolyn Forkum Blackmore, his children Raymond T. Blackmore, III, Robert Jackson Blackmore (Amy), Dawn Marie Ayers (Ronnie), and Sonya Hesketh, his grandchildren Trevor and Bailey Blackmore, Tristan and Tyler Ayers, Anthony Reynolds, Cameron Hesketh (Brittanie), Helena Hesketh, and Brooke Lucas, as well as his great-grandson Nikolai Hesketh. He is also survived by a host of friends and extended family.
Raymond was a loving husband and father. He proudly served his country in the United States Army for three years. During that time, he earned a National Defense Service Medal, an Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, and his Expert Badge. Raymond always had a good sense of humor, and was a big jokester. His favorite hobby was restoring antique cars.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 10am-12pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home, and a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will begin at 12pm in the Spring Hill Funeral Home Chapel.
