Rebecca Sanders Parker Alexander's Obituary
Rebecca Sanders Parker Alexander, 95, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022 in White House, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by, her husband of 50 years, J.B. Parker, Jr., and second husband, William O. Alexander, parents, William G. Sanders and Dovie Sanders, sisters, Helen Grandstaff and Jo Sanders Cavalier, brother, William “Uncle Sonny” Sanders.
She is survived by her children, David (Patricia “Trish”) Parker, Steven (Mollie Massa) Parker, Mark (Mylinda) Parker, five grandchildren, Jennifer (Stan) Laws, Elizabeth Parker, Mitchell Parker, Erika (Nick) Irvine, and Matthew (Cristena) Parker, and four great-grandchildren, Emerson, Rosalie, Elliston and Maddox.
Rebecca was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her family as well as playing Bridge, gardening, and oil painting.
She retired as a registered Nurse after 40+ years from Madison Hospital and Jackson Park Nursing Home.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, May 13 from 11:00 am until the time of the graveside service at 1:00 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road in Nashville (Madison).
