Mrs. Rebecca Mills Richards' Obituary
Rebecca Mills Richards, 83, of Shelbyville, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020. Rebecca was born January 4, 1937 in Franklin, Tennessee to the late Rilly Mills and Lois Newton.
Rebecca was a hard worker and loyal wife, helping her husband farm okra, turnip greens, leaf lettuce and other vegetables. She was fun loving, and loved her family dearly. She, along with other members of her family, ran bingo halls in the area.
She was preceded in death by her children Tami Richards, Jackie Richards, and Gus ‘Trey’ Richards III.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Gus Richards, Jr; her children Willie Richards, Georgia Richards and Troy Richards; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a large, loving extended family.
A visitation will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 10 AM until 11 AM. A graveside service will take place at 11 AM Saturday in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
