Mrs. Regina Melton Ramsey's Obituary
Regina Melton Ramsey, age 67 of Madison, TN passed away January 22, 2014. Mrs. Ramsey was born in Davidson County, TN on April 17, 1946 to Albert Jackson and Rhoda Jane Handley Melton.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Ramsey worked as a Secretary for the State of TN. She was a member of Madison First Baptist Church where she enjoyed volunteering and sang in the choir.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry Ramsey; daughter, Gina Renee Walker; sister, Helen Berniece Moran; and brother, Aaron Leroy Melton.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer DePriest; sister, Alma Jane “Janie” Rosenstrater; brothers, Larry Wayne Melton and Howard Eugene Melton; grandchildren, Victoria Walker, Ryan and Logan DePriest.
A celebration of Mrs. Ramsey’s life will be conducted at 2 P.M., Monday, January 27, 2014 from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Sunday, January 26, 2014 and from 10 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. on Monday at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
