Ms. Rhonda Lee Mattern's Obituary
Rhonda Lee Mattern, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee. Rhonda was born on January 16, 1959 in Laughlin, South Dakota to Leon Bruce McGregor and Wilma Bobbie (Hanks) McGregor.
Rhonda was an athlete who grew up loving and playing competitive softball. She was also an avid musician who sang and played the bass guitar. She worked for Indian Health Services as a statistician for twenty-one years, earning several rewards for performance. After retiring, she began to focus her attention on arts and crafts mixed in with a little thrift shopping, playing at the casino and of course, spending time with her chihuahuas.
She is preceded in death by her father, Leon McGregor.
Rhonda is survived by her husband, Joel Mattern; mother, Bobbie Hanks McGregor; two sons, Ryder McGregor (Brittney) and Jordan Mattern; daughter, Breck Mattern; brother, Dustin “Bud” McGregor; sisters, Lola McGregor, Shirley McGregor, Dianne McGregor and Kandi McGregor; grandchildren, Dylon Ambria McGregor, Raven Sharoff, Maleigha Wilkins, Sydney Mattern, Jordan Matter, Jr. and Jace Mattern; step-mother, Julie McGregor; special friend, Robert Miller. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 4-8 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home with an additional visitation on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 10 am until the time of service at 11 am at the funeral home.
