Richard Franklin Bair's Obituary
Richard Franklin Bair, 68, of Willow Springs, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023, in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Born May 28, 1955, in Cabool, Missouri, he was the son of the late Samuel F. Bair and Charlotte Joyce Bauer Bair.
Richard’s family will remember him as a prankster who enjoyed watching NASCAR, the Miami Dolphins, and enjoying a good cup of coffee. He also was an avid coin collector, something that he had started doing with his father.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Ann Bair; stepson Randle Carter; grandson Jeffery Carter; nephew Joshua Mitchell; uncles Randy Bauer and Ronald Bauer; cousins David Oaks and Shane Bauer.
He is survived by his stepsons Danny Carter and Phillip Carter; sisters Barbara (Kenny) Skaggs, and Norma Mitchell; daughter-in-law Cindy Carter; grandsons Matthew Carter, Josh Carter and Paul Ladd; great grandchildren Ayden Carter, Maverick Carter, Malachi Carter, Thomas Carter, Mason Carter and Lei’lani Carter; nephews Nicholas (Stephanie) Skaggs and Christopher Mitchell; niece Kimberly Mitchell; aunts Vivian Oaks, Wilma Bauer, Kathy Bauer, Alice Bauer, and Doris Hines; uncles Ralph (Cathy) Bauer, and Bobby (Marina) Bauer; and a slew of cousins.
Services are to remain private at this time.
