Richard Isom Long, age 63 of Goodlettsville, TN passed away on October 26, 2012 in Goodlettsville, TN. Richard was born August 3, 1949 in Corpus Christi, TX to Isom Henry and Dorothy Arlice Bean Long. A U.S. Navy veteran, he served his country during the Vietnam War. After returning from his military service, he worked as a banker. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived his brother, Floyd R. (Martha) Long; aunts and uncles, Max and Flossie Anderson, Floyd and Lavida Long, and Myra Long; nephew, Brian Long; and niece, Wendy (Gert) Langer. A military graveside service will be conducted at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216, (615) 865-1101.
