Richard J Payne's Obituary
PAYNE, Richard J., age 83, passed away September 29, 2010. Preceded in death by his daughter Debra Lynn Datson. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Joan Payne; daughters Gale Marshall (Daniel), Trina Thomason (Wayne), and Diane Wilson; son Richard D. Payne (Jean); grandchildren Kelley Heilman (Thomas) and Shane Marshall (Kristi); and great-granddaughters Ava and Willa Heilman and Bailee. Mr. Payne served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp during WWII. He was a beverage salesman for over 50 years and was a lifetime member of the VFW. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 2, 2010, 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow with military honors in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00-10:00a.m. at SPRING HILL FUNERAL HOME AND CEMETERY, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216, 615-865-1101.
