Richard Joseph Hydo, Sr.'s Obituary
RICHARD JOSEPH HYDO, SR., age 77, passed away February 10, 2011. He is survived by his daughters Maria Hydo Sodemann (George), Madeleine Kurtiak (Michael), and stepdaughter Karen Clark, son Richard Joseph Hydo, Jr., sisters Karen Fisher and Roberta Kovacs, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He attended Holy Trinity Church in Perth Amboy, NJ. where he was Baptized and received First Holy Communion and Confirmation. Mr. Hydo served his country in the U.S. Air Force from August 1951 through August 1955. He fought in the Korean War at the K14 Kimpo AF Base in the 67th Reconnaissance Technical Squadron 1952-1953. He was a Sheriff's Officer in New Brunswick, N.J. from June 1982 until retiring in December 1995. Viewing will be Tuesday 12:00-2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 15, 2011, 2:00 p.m. at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
