Richard F. Keary's Obituary
Richard F. Keary, 83, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Ann F. Keary and two siblings, “Buddy” Keary and Peggy McWalters.
Mr. Keary is survived by his five daughters, Kathy King, Karol Keary, Mary Keary, Karen Rhoten (Donnie) and Cindy Janssen (Justin), seven grandchildren, David Keary (Keshia), Cyndi King, Christine King, D.J. Rhoten (Stacia), Andy King, III., Kathryn McCanless, Levi Rhoten, four great-grandchildren, King Keary, Dallas Keary, Dyson Keary and Jude Rhoten, a sister, Pat Tolan (Jimmy) a brother John Keary (Betty), special friends, Becky Gullett, Jan Wiles, Bobby Hair and Bob Allen, and his beloved dog, Freddie The Freeloader.
Mr. Keary retired from the US Postal Service after 30 years. He proudly served in the US Army. He enjoyed playing in the over 50’s softball league in Hendersonville, loved the Atlanta Braves and feeding his birds and squirrels.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road in Nashville. The committal service will be held on Tuesday, September 20 at 2:45pm also at Spring Hill Cemetery.

The family asks for donations in Mr. Keary’s name to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
