Richard Allen Locke Sr.'s Obituary
Richard Allen Locke, Sr., sadly passed away June 27, 2024, at Alive Hospice in Nashville. He was born October 24, 1941, in New Haven, Connecticut, to the late Raymond Locke, Sr., and Elsie May Locke.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Locke, Jr.
Richard is survived by his partner of 43 years, Cheryl Hatcher; children, Richard Locke, Jr., Jayme Locke, and Ashlee (Charles) Stokely.
Richard was a charming man who had an appreciation for 50s/60s music, cooking, eating, and “cold” beer. He loved serving his country in the Air Force and working on airplanes. When he was younger, he had a love for traveling. He would say that he was on “one big vacation”. Richard was a proud fan of the Tennessee Titans and the Nashville Predators. Even though he never won big, Richard never gave up trying to win the lottery jackpot.
The services for Richard will be held Monday, July 8, 2024 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. The visitation will be from 10 o'clock in the morning until the time of the service. Burial will follow immediately after at Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
