Mr. Richard Odell Miles' Obituary
Richard Odell Miles, age 81, of Centerville, TN, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Christine Miles; one son, Richard Miles; one daughter, Anita Miles; numerous brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Brenda Miles; two daughters, Edie Sweeney (Lonnie), Gwen Rush; two sons, Odell Miles, London Miles; three sisters, Anita Miles, Patricia Williams, Louise Wilson; two brothers, James Miles, Tommy Miles (Melissa); six grandchildren, Brandi, Candi, Scott, Ivy, Rain, Dino; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild. Richard was a hard working man all his life. He loved to collect knives, antique model cars and spend time with family, especially around the holidays and family gatherings. He was a generous person and would help anyone in need. He loved his children, grandchildren and family with all his heart. He will be missed by all those who knew him and loved him. Visitation for Richard will be held on Sunday, February 16, from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, 37216. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday, February 17, 2020 at 2:00 PM from the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
