Mr. Richard Lavoy Taylor's Obituary
Richard Lavoy Taylor, of White House, Tennessee, age 82, passed to life eternal on May 17, 2022.
Richard was born on August 14, 1939 to his late parents Bailey Lavoy Taylor and Rachel Mae Taylor (Jordan). In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by his brother James "Jimmy" Edward Taylor. Richard is survived by his loving son Davis Lavoy Taylor (Debbie Liane Taylor) and life long friend, caregiver and partner Brenda Taylor Walden.
Richard proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps with an Honorable Discharge in 1963. He went on to work at Commerce Union Bank in Nashville as an adjuster until the late 1970’s. He owned several businesses mostly surrounding gas and convenience stores.
He loved to maintain his farm with his son Davis and you could find him on a tractor any chance he would get.
Richard loved his family, especially his son Davis and would do most anything for anyone in need. He held his in-laws and nieces and nephews deeply within his heart.
A memorial service will be held at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Hendersonville, Tennessee on Saturday May 28th. Visitation will begin at 10 am with service to follow at 11 am.
