Ricky Wayne Doss' Obituary
Ricky was a hardworking, kind, and honest man who touched the lives of everyone around him. Born and raised in Nashville, TN, he spent his life dedicated to his family and his passions.
He enjoyed bowling with his friends from Springs Industries and loved listening to Titans football games. Tinkering and repairing lawn equipment was a favorite pastime, showcasing his knack for fixing things and his love for the outdoors. Ricky's passion for ️ outdoor activities and️ sports brought joy not only to himself but also to those who shared in his interests.
Close to his brother and sisters, Ricky cherished the times they spent together on special birthdays and holidays. Those gatherings were filled with laughter, love, and the delightful aroma of Ruth's cooking—her meatloaf was his absolute favorite.
Ricky was always a good provider, putting his family first and working tirelessly to support them. His hardworking, kind, honest, responsible, and loyal nature defined who he was and how he lived his life.
Though he passed after a long illness in his hometown of Nashville, the love and lessons he shared remain in the hearts of all who knew him. Ricky was a supportive husband and father whose legacy of love and dedication will continue to inspire us.
He will be deeply missed, but his spirit lives on in the memories we hold dear.
Those who have passed on before him are his parents, Proney and Dorothy Doss, and brother, Anthony “Tony” Doss.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of nearly 55 years, Ruth Doss, sons, Darrell Doss and Timothy Doss, sisters, Linda (Ray) Batey, Betty Anderson, Carol Childress, and a host of nieces and nephews.
