Rita Jane Tompkins' Obituary
Rita Jane Tompkins; Age 65 of Nashville, TN passed away June 28, 2012. She was born in Morganfield, KY on March 2, 1947 to the late Gammon and Elizabeth Newman. She is survived by her daughter Rosie Whitaker, grandchildren Isabella and Addison Whitaker, brother Jim Newman, sisters Ann Brown and Cathy Patton. Jane was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved animals and cooking. She loved her weekend dining excursions with her family. Jane was a long time employee of Sheraton Music City Hotel and Sheraton Nashville. Memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Nashville Humane Society. Condolences may be offered at springhillfh.com.
