Robbie Lela Watts Thomas' Obituary
It is with deep love and remembrance that we celebrate the life of Robbie Lela Watts-Thomas, born in Springfield, TN on January 11, 1965, a woman whose warmth, strength, and unwavering positivity touched everyone who knew her. Robbie passed peacefully. She was loved greatly by her family who carry the memories she helped create.
Robbie was a lively spirit with a kind heart and an infectious smile. She had a gift for making people feel welcomed, encouraged, and deeply loved. Family was the center of her world, and she loved fiercely — especially her beloved son, Franklin Lee Thomas, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her cherished grandson, August Lee Thomas and her loving Father and Mother Donald Lee Watts, Sr. and Gloria Marshal Moses.
As the oldest of five siblings (Missy, Donnie, Tessa, Crystal) Robbie naturally stepped into the role of protector and guide. She looked after her brother and sisters with a nurturing spirit that remained throughout her life.
Robbie worked as a computer graphic designer, bringing creativity and dedication to her work. She had an artistic eye and a thoughtful mind, and she took pride in creating things that brought beauty and meaning to others.
She also faced the challenges of Multiple Sclerosis with courage and determination. Though the disease caused short-term memory loss, it never diminished her loving nature, her sense of humor, or the light she carried within her. Robbie continued to find joy in life, offering positivity and kindness even through difficult days.
More than anything, Robbie will be remembered for the love she gave so freely — the conversations, laughter, encouragement, and comfort she shared with family and friends. Her legacy lives on in the people she protected, supported, and loved so deeply.
She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
