Robert Foster Anderson's Obituary
Robert F. Anderson Sr., age 69, passed away on May 2, 2026. He was born on April 19, 1957, in Nashville, to Luther and Beverly Anderson.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Beverly Anderson.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 27 years, Brenda; his children, Robert Anderson Jr., Taylor Anderson, Tyler Anderson, Christopher Anderson, Ashley Snider (Jon), Jason Harrison (Coby), Heather Hill (Robby), Stephanie Muoy, and Michael Rivers Jr.; his grandchildren, Shiloh Anderson, Jace Anderson, Ellie and Easton Snider, James, Matthew, Madison, Abigail, and Caroline Harrison, Dylan and Amanda Hill, Austin Eaton, Kyle and Zoe Muoy, and Lilian and Kylee Rivers; his sister, Danielle Smith (Sonny); and nephews, Jared and Andrew Smith.
Robert was known as one of the hardest-working men you could meet. Over his lifetime, he learned how to farm, grow and strip tobacco, operate heavy machinery, and repair nearly anything he could put his hands on including automobiles, boats, tractors, plumbing, and electrical systems. He spent the majority of his career working for Little Joe’s Construction Company as a skilled heavy equipment operator and mechanic, where his strong work ethic and willingness to mentor others earned the respect of coworkers who became like family to him. He also pursued his entrepreneurial spirit through his own bulldozer business and Anderson Mobile Mechanics.
Robert was a fun-loving man who brought joy to everyone around him. He was a deeply devoted husband to Brenda, a woman with a heart of gold, and together they shared nearly 27 wonderful years of marriage. To the very best of his ability, he raised six children and taught them the value of family. Robert loved the outdoors and was happiest hunting, fishing, boating, camping, or simply spending time on the water with those he loved most.
Pallbearers will be Robert Anderson Jr., Tyler Anderson, Christopher Anderson, and Jace Anderson. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Rivers Jr. and Taylor Anderson.
