Mr. Robert Elmore Carver's Obituary
Robert Elmore Carver, age 87 of Nashville, TN passed away November 11, 2013. Mr. Carver was born in Carthage, TN on July 31, 1926 to Jasper and Kate Carver. He loved his job, working as a countertop and cabinet-maker with EZ Kitchens for over 20 years. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, and while he was able, dancing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 63 years, Albertine; and infant siblings, Roger Eugene and Jasper Ray Carver. He is survived by his children, Sandra Carver, Peggy Pistole, David and Donald Carver; siblings, Lena Pearl, Opal Hesson, Olean Russell, Pauline Givens, Nell Givens and Roy Carver; grandchildren, Amanda Shively, Tony Dickerson, Charles Pistole and Robin Mowers; great-grandchildren, Cheona Shively, Holly Pistole, Heather Franklin and Elly Mowers.
A celebration of Mr. Carver’s life will be conducted at 2 PM, Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 PM until 8 PM on Tuesday, November 12 at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
