Robert Donald Baggett's Obituary
Robert Donald Baggett, age 85 of Goodlettsville, passed away on April 16, 2012. Mr. Baggett was born March 5, 1927 in Clarksville, TN to Robert Charles Baggett and Myrtle Mae Suter. A devoted Christian man with a big heart, Mr. Baggett loved spending time with his family, especially when they shared a meal together. He was a member and former deacon of Ridgetop Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved to fish and enjoyed farming and gardening. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 59 years, Vera Baggett. He is survived by his sons, Donald Ray (Gayla), Dana Bruce and Van Scott Baggett; brother, Henry Lawrence Baggett; sisters, Hattie Elizabeth Bartelt and Peggy Jean Austin; grandchildren, Bryan Stacy Baggett and Holly Anne Hemmrich; great-grandchildren, Robert Donald Baggett and Brittany Dawn Baggett; great, great-grandchildren, Robert Lucas Baggett, Emma Jean Baggett and Cole Fredrick Donald Hemmrich. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 19, 2012 in the Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, prior to the service at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Jeff Baggett, Bobby Baggett, Kenny Baggett, Robert Donald Baggett, Bryan Stacy Baggett and Timothy Mark Steady will serve as pallbearers.
