Mr. Robert Lynn Goodwin's Obituary
Robert Lynn Goodwin, age 67, of Nashville, TN, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Goodwin; half sister, Elaine. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Pamela; one son, Robert D. Goodwin (Kelly); two half sisters, Martha Harvey, Marie Syley (Terry); one half brother, Tom Lunn; three grandchildren, Savannah Goodwin, Cole Goodwin, Sydney Goodwin.
Robert was a family man and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the Opossum Pouch Wildlife Rescue Group and loved helping animals. He enjoyed guns and going to the gun range, drones, and antique cars, working on them and showing them in antique car shows. He also had a love for astrology and would let the community know when the space station was visible in the Nashville sky. He will be missed by all those who knew him and loved him.
Visitation for Robert will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, 37216, from 10 AM until Noon at which time a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted from the funeral home chape. Burial will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Robert’s memory to The Opossum's Pouch Sanctuary, Rescue and Rehabilitation, 202 Long St. Prosperity, SC 29127, Attn: Beth Sparks.
