Robert Bridges Herndon
Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 11am at Middle Tennessee State Veteran’s Cemetery in Nashville for Robert Bridges Herndon who passed away October 28, 2016 at the age of 72. He was a resident of Nashville.
Born February 1, 1944 in Mobile, Alabama, he was the loving son of Willis and Rose Herndon.
Mr. Herndon enjoyed cooking and working in the restaurant business. He loved Nashville and was a very simple man who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life.
He is survived by his son Chris Herndon of Nashville; his daughters, Libby Walker and her husband, Tommy of Saraland, AL and Stacy Herndon of Nashville and by his sister, Gloria Deming. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and many special friends.
Mr. Herndon was preceded in death by his parents Willis and Rose Herndon and by his brother-in-law Frank Deming.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 4825 Trousdale Dr # 220, Nashville, TN 37220.
