Robert Ray Holmes, Sr.'s Obituary
Robert Roy Holmes, Sr. age 80 of Hermitage passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016. A native of Covington, Virginia, he was the son of the late Emory and Mary Holmes Mann. He is also preceded in death by a step-son Gregory Williams and his sister Emma Hightower.
Mr. Holmes is survived by his wife of 41 years, Myrtle, son Robert Roy Holmes, Jr. of Baltimore, MD, and his step-children Richard (Teresa) Williams of Tacoma, WA, Helen Adams of Hermitage, TN, Keith (Paula) Williams of Seattle, WA, Martha Oglesby of Atlanta, GA., Myra Hampton of Huntingdon, TN and Ronald Williams of Seattle, WA.
Visitation will be 2:00pm until time of service at 4:00pm Sunday at Spring Hill Funeral and Cemetery. Reverend Andrew Henderson of Nashville, TN and Bishop Don H. Scott of Atlanta, GA. will officiate. Graveside service will be 10:00am Monday at Spring Hill Funeral Home Cemetery.
