Robert Lee Hunt, age 87, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021. Born March 30, 1934 in Old Hickory, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Roy A. Hunt and Ruby Alread Hunt.
Robert was a member of Kemper Heights Church of Christ. He served his country proudly in the US Army. Mr. Hunt was a well known lawn mower repairman in East Nashville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Sylvia Joyce Hunt; a daughter Vickie Diane Hunt; siblings Eva, Willie, Charlie, Roy, Clarence, and James.
He is survived by his children Gary (Flora) Hunt, Ronnie (Rebecca) Hunt, David (Becky) Hunt, and Rick Hunt; sister Louise (Ray) Estes; grandchildren Jason, Paul, David, Joshua, Nick, Kayla, Cole, and Haleigh; great grandchildren Lucy, Jemma, Skylar, Noah, Aliah, Tytiyana, and Jaidon.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 28, from 4pm until 8pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service with Joel Plunkett and David Lanius officiating will take place at the funeral home at 12 PM noon on Friday, October 29. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
