Mr. Robert Lee Jackson's Obituary
Robert Lee Jackson, age 78, of Nashville, passed away on December 12, 2014. Bob was born in Louisville, Kentucky on November 14, 1936. Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and son. The family recalls, “The day our mom became ill, Dad immediately dropped everything to take care of her. And that was the day that Dad became our hero all over again.” His children recall that Bob was the strongest man that they ever knew. He took care of his ailing wife while he was also suffering from cancer. When she passed in 2012, he was faithful about coming to place flowers on her grave. Bob proudly served his country in the US Air Force for over 20 years.
Bob is survived by his children, Jeff, Micheal (Sherri), Clyde (Denise), Wanda (Kevin), and Frankie; as well as seven grandchildren.
Bob’s family will receive visitors on Monday, December 15, 2014, from 3pm until 7:30pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 11am in the Veterans I Garden of Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
