Mr. Robert Shular's Obituary
Robert Vinson Shular Sr. passed away on May 5, 2017 in Madison, TN. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Alfred Shular, Clara Alean Gammons Shular; son, Robert Vinson Shular Jr.; daughter, Tamara Jill Shular; 4 brothers; and 3 sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife of 70 plus years, Carolyn Shular; daughter, Pamela E. LaMura; daughter-in-law, Sharlotte Shular; sisters, Marie Stanford, Janet Owen; grandchildren, Stephanie Strand, Shannon (Chris) Reed, Chance Shular, Garrett (Adrienne) Shular, Robbie (Martina) Shular; and 4 great- grandchildren, Sawyer Gregory Strand, Kyler Shular, Brielle, and J.C.
Robert was a kind and caring man who served our country for 3 years. During his service he received 2 awards, The American Service Medal, and The World War II Victory Medal. Robert enjoyed flying, fishing, and traveling in his motor-home. He loved gardening and working in his yard. Robert was a wonderful man who will be missed by all who knew him.
Officiating the service will be Mr. Terry McCormick. In lieu of flowers please make memorials to Alive Hospice.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held on May 19, 2017 at 1pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A one hour visitation will be held before the service on May 19, 2017 from 12-1pm.
