Mr. Robert David Shumate's Obituary
Mr. Robert David Shumate age 60 of Madison, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Nelle Shumate; brothers, Nick, Bert
and Joe Shumate and his sister, Nadine Perry.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Thelma Shumate; brothers, Johnny (Carolyn) Shumate
and Danny (Gail) Shumate; brother in laws, Eugene Meadows and Louis (Margie) Meadows;
sister in laws, Elaine Morgan, Lois Reeves and Christine Weaver; many beloved nieces and
nephews and his beloved dog, Bodi.
His family will receive friends from 1 until 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 30 at Spring Hill Funeral
Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 31 from
The Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Nome with Bro. James Tidwell officiating. Interment will be in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Services entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home.
