Mr. Robert L. Watson's Obituary
Robert L. Watson, 79, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Cornerstone Hospice House in the Villages Florida. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Dolores (Dee) Watson, brother James (Marie) Watson, JB (Maki) Watson, daughters, Debra Watson Kaufman (Mike), Diane Watson Eckert (Tim), grandchildren: Cameron Kaufman, Joe Eckert, Jacob Eckert, Raegan Kaufman, great grandson Emersyn Kaufman, and a host of friends he has made over his lifetime.
He is preceded in death by his father Roy W. Watson, his mother Amanda Ruth (Knight) Watson, sisters Helen Whited, Gene Gibbs and Alice Fitzhugh, and brother Roy Watson.
Bob retired from the State of Tennessee as a Computer Programmer with the Department of Finance and Administration. He enjoyed dancing, playing cards, pickleball, The Tennessee Titans, had a passion for history, loved the Lord, and just life in general. He was an inspiration to all, always smiling or joking even in the worst of times.
The family will receive relatives and guests at a visitation to be held on Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 4 to 8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery located at 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, Tennessee.
Services will be at Spring Hill Funeral Home Monday, January 27 at 1:30 with visitation at 12:30 prior to services.
