In my career at Dollar General I had the privilege of working with a lot of very good people. But Roberta was in a class by herself. She was, by far, the finest, most hard-working, most dedicated person that I worked with during my time at Dollar General and in many situations, she was the only person I knew I could count on. After I left Dollar General, Roberta was kind enough to always call and check on me and she would bake me a cake for each and every holiday and I would stop by and pick it up and visit with her. Over the years, I saw her reach out and sacrifice to help many down and out people. She was a giver and I saw her open her home to those in need. She was the kind of person that we all should strive to be and my final thought when I will think about her is that God is so lucky to now have her. God bless you Roberta, this is your time to finally rest now.
