Roger D Baker's Obituary
Roger Dale Baker, age 66, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Skyline Medical Center after a short illness.
He was born on May 6, 1959, the youngest son of the late Edward Donald Baker and Mary Elizabeth Baker both deceased. He graduated from Stratford High School in 1977. While he drove a cab for 40 years Roger currently owned a business as a parts courier for the TA Truck Stops of America.
Roger was best known for being responsible, hard-working, having a great sense of humor, and being a creative storyteller. He also enjoyed his grandchildren, playing golf, and watching baseball.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Kathy Baker. He was great Papa to AJ, Maddie, and Landon, and his three bonus grandchildren, Brittany, Kealie, and Lyric. Other survivors include his brothers David and Danny Baker with their wives Nina and Terri as well as several nephews and nieces.
A memorial visitation will be held Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at Springhill Funeral Home. At 1:00pm anyone wishing to share “Roger Stories”, is welcome to speak. Following these remarks, there will be silent prayer.
