Roger Keefer Garner's Obituary
Roger Keefer Garner, age 67, of Goodlettsville, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Frances (Sis) Garner King and Pat Garner; and brother, Timothy Joseph King. He was a devoted father and avid sports enthusiast. Mr. Garner was associated with the business that his mother started when he was six years old, The Starlite Club, on Dickerson Pike. He graduated from Goodlettsville High School in 1964, where he excelled in all sports. Mr. Garner is survived by his son, Keefer Garner; stepson, Shane
Stain; brother, Lonnie Dale Garner; sisters, Pat Garner Frensley and Lisa Garner York; and his long-time friend, Jimi Williams. A Celebration of Life ceremony shall take place on Thursday, October 17, 2013, at 1PM from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Hancock officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 16, 2013, from 4PM until 8PM, and on Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 10AM until the time of service. Entombment will take place at a later date.
