Roger Dale Monroe
Private services will be held for Roger Dale Monroe who passed away on October 24, 2016 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville at the age of 69. He was a resident of Madison.
Born June 3, 1947 in Dyersburg, he was the loving son of John and Lola Monroe.
Mr. Monroe worked as a Ticket Agent for Greyhound for over 24 years prior to his retirement. He also served his country as a Captain in United States Army in the 101st Airborne Division in Vietnam. Mr. Monroe enjoyed working and loved animals, especially his beloved Chihuahua, Haley. He was a very special person who will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He is survived by his sons Jonathan Monroe and his wife Leigh Ann and Michael Crowe and his wife Delorise; his daughter Dana Pattison and her husband Jacob. He is also survived by his grandson Dustin Sibley and his niece and caretaker Kimberly Cann.
He was preceded in death by his parents John E. Monroe and Lola (Hollis) Monroe.
