Mr. Roger L Oberbroeckling's Obituary
Roger L. Oberbroeckling died peacefully at home surrounded by family on Friday, January 4, 2019. He was born on April 15th 1938 in Dubuque, Iowa to Lavata (Roussel) and Henry C. Oberbroeckling.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Geraldine A (Sides) and his brother, Arnold F. Oberbroeckling. Roger is survived by his children, Laura Morrison (Craig), Larry Oberbroeckling (Pat), Roger D. Oberbroeckling, Beverly Oberbroeckling, Connie Johnston (Duane), John Oberbroeckling, 10 grandchildren and his sister, Arlene Mesch (Clem) of Tucson, Arizona.
Roger was a long time resident of Dubuque, Iowa and worked for 30 years for John Deere. He retired to Hendersonville, Tennessee in 1989 and worked 10 years for Anchor Wire.
A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 11 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until 10:30 at which time a Rosary service will be held.
