Mr. Roland Doyle McAfee Sr.'s Obituary
Roland Doyle McAfee, Sr., 90, of Springfield, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022. Born May 14, 1931, in Georgia, he was the son of the late John Herman McAfee and Edna Pauline Hughlen McAfee.
He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be missed dearly. Roland was a long-time member of International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local #3. He could often be found on his lawn mower and will be remembered for his loving of gardening and tending to his lawn.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Loretta Ann McAfee; son David McAfee.
He is survived by his daughter Ruth Riggs; sons Ronald McAfee and Roland (Debbie) McAfee, Jr.; sisters Virginia McAfee, Roberta (Bob) Mejia, and Rosetta Carroway; grandchildren Tara, Michael, Kristen, Trevor, Savannah, Rachel, Jacob, David, Sarah, Joshua and Renee; 20 great grandchildren; his fur kid ‘Yeller’.
