Mr. Roland M. McKinnies Jr.'s Obituary
Roland M. McKinnies Jr., age 75, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Hazel McKinnies. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Catherine McKinnies; one daughter, Mary Anne Lehman (Kevin); special caretaker and friend, Janice Clement. Roland enjoyed watching Fox network, even though everyone around him thought he should consider watching something else, sometimes he would change the station, sometimes he would not. He also enjoyed going to church, listening to music and frozen cokes. Despite watching Fox network, Roland had a good sense of humor and will be missed by all those who knew him and loved him. Visitation for Roland will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 12 noon until 2 PM at which time a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted from the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Brother Joe McKinney and Brother Keith Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, a Nashville Landmark since 1785 “Where Nashville Comes to Remember”
