Mr. Ronald Dale "R.D." Borders' Obituary
Ronald Dale ‘R.D.’ Borders, 70, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020. Born January 3, 1950 in Portland, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Charles Borders and Eunice Cline Borders.
R.D. was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a Christian country boy who loved his family and friends. R.D. was a member at Calvary Apostolic Church in Murfreesboro.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Jerry Borders.
He is survived by his wife Glenda Borders; children Mark Borders, Sherrie (Stephen) Denton, Shar (Martin) Amador, Lynn (Billy) Pewitt, and Tommy Arendall; sister Wanda (Joe) Roberson; brother Danny Borders; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 30, from 4 PM until 8 PM at Calvary Apostolic Church 2315 Joe B. Jackson Parkway, Murfreesboro, TN 37127. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at the church 11 AM Thursday, with family receiving friends and visitors two hours prior to services. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville.
