Mr. Ronald Dean Nolen Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Ronald Dean “Ronny” Nolen, Sr., 55, a resident of Madison, died Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Skyline Medical Center.
The Nashville, Tennessee native was the son of the Paul Dillard Nolen. He was a long-time associate of Crown Packaging and formerly with BiRite Foodtown. He enjoyed drag racing, NASCAR, the Dallas Cowboys and University of Tennessee Vols and all in all a sports enthusiast. His favorite vacation spot was Gatlinburg, Tennessee and the Great Smoky Mountains. Ronny loved people and helping in any way he could.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Newman Nolen; two daughters, Valarie Nolen and Rhea Nolen; two sons, Wayne Nolen and Bubba Nolen; six grandchildren, Bryce, Ryan, Kursten, Jada, Caitlin and Olivia; his mother-in-law, Wilda Newman and was preceded in death by his father-in-law, James L. Newman.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Ceremony will be conducted Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 2:00PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home with Gary Ferrell officiating. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 12:00noon until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
