Ronald "Ronnie" Edward Pharris, Sr.'s Obituary
Ronald “Ronnie” Edward Pharris, Sr., 77, of Madison, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eva and Lee Pharris, and a son-in-law, Todd Cain. Mr. Pharris is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Beverly Pharris, three children, Eddie (Lori) Pharris, Leanne Cain and Jenny (Chris) Johnson, eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, two brothers, Mike Pharris and Ricky (Kim) Pharris, and numerous extended relatives and friends.
Ronnie, as he was affectionately known as, was a hard worker. He was the longest tenured employee, retiring after 57 years from Dupont and Berry Global. He was a member at Neelys Bend Baptist Church. In his spare time away from work, he enjoyed being involved with Little League, serving as past President of Madison Little League in the 80’s and 90’s. He will be dearly missed.
The family cordially invites relatives and friends to visit on Friday, July 26, 2024, from three o’clock in the afternoon until eight o’clock in the evening at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road in Nashville. The funeral will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at twelve o’clock noon with two hours of visiting prior to the service. Pastor Austin Jones will officiate the service the committal will immediately follow. Acting pallbearers are; Raymond Cain, Chad Pharris, Christopher Johnson, Sean Jones, Del Pharris, Richard Pharris, Kevin Brackman and Darius Cain.
