William D. “Roosevelt” Galloway, 89, of Gallatin, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2022. Born November 6, 1932, in Salem, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Allen B Galloway and Minnie Patterson Galloway.
He was retired from the United States Army. When he left the military he went into computer operations. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church and a former member of Inglewood Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Lee Galloway; son Clyde Eugene Galloway; and several siblings and half siblings.
He is survived by his daughters Regina Sue (Ray) Morgan, Debra Kay Galloway, and Rita Ann Galloway; sons Curtis Randall (Jackie) Galloway and Jeffrey Lee Galloway; sister Edith Collins; grandchildren Lauren Galloway and Josh Humphries; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville on Monday, June 27, from 4 pm until 8 pm. Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 28 at 12 pm with Pastor James Bell officiating.
