Mrs. Rosa Lee Long's Obituary
Rosa Lee Long, age 73 of Hendersonville, passed away February 28, 2016. Mrs. Long served as Alderman of Ward 1 in Hendersonville from 1996-2000 and was appointed to the board in January 2013 after the death of her husband, Jack Long, to fill the remainder of his term. She was re-elected to the position in 2014. She was an active member of Hendersonville Church of Christ. She was a loving, caring, daughter, sister, wife, grandmother, and a steward for the people of Hendersonville.
Mrs. Long is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Long.
She is survived by her children; Blake Long (Tammy), Jennifer Dotson (Mark) and Kevin Long (Felicia); brother, Asa Riggan; grandchildren, Danielle Long, Kelsey Dotson, Elizabeth Long, Shannon Long, and Catherine Long.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 3:30pm Wednesday, March 2, at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held 3-8pm Tuesday, March 1 at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Wednesday from 11-3:30pm.
